The Battleship 12K is committed to giving back to the brave men & women who have served our country and made a sacrifice in doing so. Below are some of our military charities that we’ve had the privilege of working with.
Established in 2009, Boot Campaign is a national 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to showing tangible appreciation of our military, raising awareness of the challenges they face during and post-service and supporting their transition home. Through the sale of its signature military combat boots, general public donations and corporate sponsorships, Boot Campaign provides assistance across a variety of initiatives including housing, jobs, wellness, urgent financial relief, family support and education. These efforts extend to all generations of military personnel, past and present, who endure significant physical, emotional and circumstantial hardships resulting from their service and sacrifice. Boot Campaign is proud to work each day under the motto, “When They Come Back, We Give Back.” www.BootCampaign.com.
Mission 22 is a collaboration between Elder Heart, a veteran non-profit organization, and a global advertising agency. Elder Heart is comprised of Delta Force and Special Forces operators Tom Spooner, Magnus Johnson, and Mike Kissel. Because of their personal battles with PTSD and TBI they have made it their mission to raise awareness, enlist support, and end veteran suicide in America. www.Mission22.com
