Q: I deferred my entry to 2017. How do I know if my registration is set for the 2017 race?

A: You will receive a registration confirmation that your entry has been entered into the 2017 database. If you change email addresses, please notify us of the change.


Q: I am injured and cannot run. What are my options?

A: You can defer your entry to 2018 for a fee of $10. All requests for deferral or transfer must be completed 10 days in advance of the event. 


Q: What time does the race start?

A: The Battleship 12K starts at 8:00am CST on Sunday November 12, 2017.


Q: Is there a time limit?

A: Yes. We aim to accommodate as many participants as possible, however there is a 2 hour course limit to be off of Hwy 90/98 and enter into Battleship Park.


Q: What happens if it rains?

A: The race will happen rain or shine. If inclement weather is present race management may delay the start. If lighting is present we will delay until it is deemed safe to run by local authorities. Please check local weather prior to race morning to dress & prepare properly for whatever weather there may be.


Q: When does the event officially end?

A: 11:00 AM local time.


Q: Do I get a Finisher's Medal even if I finish in last place?

A: Of course you do!


Q: What are the different awards divisions?

A: Awards will be given to the overall Top 3 M/F, overall master winner (M/F 40+), overall grand master winner (M/F 50+), overall grand master winner (M/F 60+) and the top three M/F of each age group. Top 3 M/F Military.
Age groups are as follows: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over. Overall awards are decided based on gun time, age group awards are decided based on participant’s chip time
